The regents approved the scoreboard project at up to $4 million, along with $10.7 million for a new Cyclone Sport Complex, which would include fields for soccer, softball and track and field.Pollard said advancements in technology, including what is being done at other stadiums, have dated the system.
Pollard said "the scoreboard will have to be taken down and the scoreboard will have to come down a because of a future separate stadium renovation project. The new scoreboard is expected to have a 10 to 12 year life span."Interesting, is he forecasting the bowling of the south endzone?
